Fleishman-Hillard Wins Li-Ning Account
BEIJING, June 25, 2012 – Fleishman-Hillard has been appointed as the lead communications consultancy to Li-Ning Company Limited (SEHK:2331), a leading sports apparel maker representing China around the world. Fleishman-Hillard will provide strategic counsel to Li-Ning for its corporate, brand and digital communications, as well as its upcoming campaigns tied to the 2012 Olympic Games.
Li-Ning is committed to becoming a global brand from China. Fleishman-Hillard was selected to lead the company’s communications business in part because of the agency’s track record serving prominent multinational corporations, as well as local Chinese brands. To strengthen Li-Ning’s position as China’s leading sportswear brand, Fleishman-Hillard will leverage the agency’s worldwide network, integrated marketing expertise and in-depth local knowledge.
“Li-Ning is one of our newest and most distinguished clients on a growing roster of multinational companies deeply rooted in China,” said Lynne Anne Davis, Fleishman-Hillard’s president for Asia Pacific. “Our extensive global network and outstanding local talent will add value to the Li-Ning brand at home and abroad.”
“Fleishman-Hillard is honored to have been chosen as the partner to take Li-Ning’s business to the next level,” said Li Hong, Fleishman-Hillard’s president for China. “To us, that means going beyond just integrating different marketing disciplines, or integrating clients’ online and offline campaigns. Rather, it means that we know what needs to be conveyed across the entire spectrum of brand communications, marketing, e-commerce and CRM. Major players such as Li-Ning require campaigns that offer meaningful messages while providing customers with compelling offers and rewards, particularly in a world where people are constantly connected via ubiquitous mobile devices. We understand these changes and are committed to an ever-growing relationship with clients who appreciate that we will own the results generated by our campaigns.”
